when I saw my first white hair, it assured me that this can be brought on by stress ... i had just lost my mom, after a battle with lung cancer. I was 33. I'm blonde, so I guess I'm luckier than people with darker hair, because they blend in much better.

I was about 30. I was startled and I plucked it out, even though popular wisdom here states that 7 new ones will come out for each "cana" (that's white hair in Spanish) that you take out.

Luckily my hair is dark blonde and they are not so visible. But I don't like them and they depress me a little.
