Say I have jet black hair and I also have snow white strands of hair appearing in lots of places?

And I want to dye my hair to get rid of the white hairs, should I get permanent black hair dye or should I get another suitable color, such as mahogany?

Should I use ladies hair dye? Thanx.

they have many colours that you can pick from.

pick up loads of colours that goes to the closest colour of your hair!

make sure you pick up hair dye that is permanent, and that can cover these strands, not all hair dye can!

try using toners, they'll do the job. it's in the dye isle and comes in smaller packages!.

i havent used them before myself, but this girl i know loves them.

i'd imagine this is what people do when they have odd strands of hair :)

it looks easier to do and also it's cheaper than ordinary hair dye.

Plus if you bought hair dye, you'll have loads to go to waste.

you can use ladies dye if you'd like! it doesn't really matter.

hasnt effected my brothers hair at all anyway!

good luck dude! :D

REMEMBER TO READ THE INSTRUCTIONS AT LEAST TWICE!

incase you didnt see my capital letters, remember to read the instructions at least twice!

Embrace the change - whatever you do to it, it will not change what is actually there.

You are becoming a wolf.

Don't use ladies hair dye. Use men's hair dye if you're a guy.

And get permanent black hair dye if black is your orginal color. Or else it will look strange.

I would use the color that matches most closely with your natural color. Although, guessing you're a guy... gray can be sexy. :) If you match your natural color, when it grows out it will be easier to touch up the roots. Good luck!

The white hairs might be appearing because of stress before you dye your hair work on the problem. Try to relax, and/ or go to stress management classes. Also, is this genetic- is anyone in your family having this problem? Have you come into contact with chemicals that would cause this change?

yes and yes, get the desired color (preferably dark) and just dye hair as normal, women's might have a little too much for you but would suit you just fine. Make sure you do a strand test as always before you try a new product.

a dark brown. U should get a solid color because it could turn the black in ur hair an dark orange color.

For the first time I would suggest to go to a stylist. You could really mess your hair up if you do it by yourself.

Say I have jet black hair and I also have snow white strands of hair appearing in lots of places?

you can get mens hair dye. a good one is Live, they have a good range of colours and it lasts well. i used Cosmic Blue once, it looks black from a distance but is tinted blue close up. definately recommended. remember, always read the bottle first! good luck hun!!

whichever color you use do not use ladies hair dye or you might have couple of other things growing too, these might not suit you!

Get pemanent black dye. If you use another colour, it will eventually fade out and your white hairs will be seen again

Use Men's hair dye, the formula is made especially for your type of hair ;)

Don't go for black. Black hair dye looks so phony.

Get a shade or two lighter than the black for a more natural look.

There shouldn't be a problem using a ladies hair dye.

Say I have jet black hair and I also have snow white strands of hair appearing in lots of places?

its not easy to go from black to mahogany without making ur hair dry. so do full black

Say I have jet black hair and I also have snow white strands of hair appearing in lots of places?

use mens hair dye and stick with black permanent. p.s. dont pull your white hair strands out becuz with one you pull 5 mur pop out. gud luck

Say I have jet black hair and I also have snow white strands of hair appearing in lots of places?

Use a hair dye that says best for covering greys, the best one out there is nice and easy by clairol.

Then just dye the whole lot black, should cover it nicely.

Just for men works with the white hairs you are getting, sucks to get them but they are unavoidable. Best thing since you have white hairs is go with your natural colors so it blends. You dont go with the natural color your white are going to be lighter then the rest of your hair.

You're going grey old mate, face it. It happens man. This is the dilemma; some grey looks distinguished, some more looks old, and a lot looks dreadful. Do you look distinguished for a period, and it can be many many years, then move onto dying as the distinguished fades into old, or do you go straight for the youthful all over colour? Of course, the grey sets in faster if you dye, but if you remain distinguished then start to colour, everybody knows that your colouring! Or do you do as I will when my greying days start, just let nature take its course. The only difference between permanent and the other stuff is that permanent lasts longer. Weigh up the costs. You could possibly enter a hair dye shop, approach the most beautiful young woman there, and say to her: I'm going grey love, can you tell me which dye to use that gives the best results? I'm sure she will be most helpful. Of course you'll be able to hear the roars of girly laughter from miles away for hours.

use just for men in your natural colour.

Try Feria for men. They have three shades, essentially. The black is a subtle mysterious black that won't make you look like you dipped your head in a bucket of ink or a comic book superhero. Try to find a dye that doesn't have ammonia-that is nasty to your hair. Mine went white at 24-dyed it once turned a hideous shade of green. Never dyed it again-It's shiny, healthy and the cutter keeps it looking decent.

Whatever you do don't go the Grecian Formula route-that stuff is metal based that actually tarnishes on your hair and you end up with strange purplish undertones.Check the packages that say "Colors only the grey"; grey hair absorbs color differently than black or brown you don't want to overcolor your natural color just those white strands.
