Plucking one white hair means 2 or 3 white hairs growing back to replace it ?

im only 14 and i seem to have alot of white/grey hairs... i was just wondering if plucking one white hair means 2 or 3 white hairs growing back to replace it ?

Plucking one white hair means 2 or 3 white hairs growing back to replace it ?

That is a myth.

The reason why some people believe that is because when you have one white hair it's more likely that you will have more than less, hence the association.

Plucking one white hair means 2 or 3 white hairs growing back to replace it ?

That is BS!

Plucking one white hair means 2 or 3 white hairs growing back to replace it ?

no...the one hair will just grow back longer.

very funny, where did you hear that?, from UFO?

Plucking one white hair means 2 or 3 white hairs growing back to replace it ?

no that's lies . pluck them out . but if you are getting grey hairs now you will probably go grey young, it runs in families

If you can do that then you will be a Millionaire because you have just invented a cure for baldness.

You have only a certain # of hair follicles. Plucking grey hair does not create more, this is a wives tale. I have however seen compulsive hair pullers who pull their hair out in bald patches and after years of doing this the hair did come in all grey in that area.

no unless you are an ape

What's wrong with white hair?

Plucking one white hair means 2 or 3 white hairs growing back to replace it ?

That's a myth! Some people have "premature graying" which is hereditary. Personally I think gray hair is appealing on youth as long as it's clean and shiny. It's not uncommon and usually tends to run in families.

It's not true I started to go grey when I was 15 when you pull them out they grow a little thicker that's me though I had an Aunt who was snow white when 40 it's genetics

no! they say that because by the time that one hair grows back another couple have also appeared!

Plucking one white hair means 2 or 3 white hairs growing back to replace it ?

Whose told you that?

Its an old wives tale and it isnt true.

I found my first grey/white hair when I was 16!!! So trust me I know how you feel.

Some people start going gry quite young. It does tend to run in families. My dad started going grey at 18 but my mum was 30 when she found her first one. Im 29 now and have quite a few but i keep them covered up by dying my hair. Which I know doesnt do your hair any good either but its the only solution I have for myself.

There are vitamins you can take to help keep your hair strong and healthy. Just type Vitamins for hair loss into your browser and it will give you the list. They are easy to get hold of.

If you pull a grey hair out, it doesnt get replaced with more grey hairs. Each tiny strand of hair has its OWN nerve ending. All it does is grows back abit longer.

Dont worry. It happens to us all and your DEFINATLY NOT ALONE
