I have mostly black, straight hair (a little wavy when it's long). The white hairs on my head are not straight. They look like they been through a really horrible permanent.
Is this normal? Or am I some kind of mutant? :)
People who've cut my hair have commented on it, so it must be a little strange.
Does this mean that it will look like I have a bad permanent when I get older? If that's the case, I think I'll just shave off my hair.

I'd say it's kinda normal for white hairs to do that. My mom has mostly brownish blonde hair but a good bit of white mixed in and her hair does the same thing. The white hairs are all shorter than the others too. I've never thought much about it until I saw your question though. But you are not a mutant, I assure you.
